Claire Munday is the founder and creator of Tappy Toes. She started dancing at the age of 3 and has danced all her life. After a successful 10 year career as a professional dancer she set up her own Dance school RISE Studios in Rickmansworth and Watford, Hertfordshire, and created the Tappy Toes brand and syllabus. Having run the Tappy Toes toddler dance classes for a few years and being asked about setting them up in various other areas, Claire decided to franchise Tappy Toes so that children all over the UK could learn to dance in a fun and imaginative way. The Rickmansworth classes are now taught by the fabulous Miss Olivia. Find out more about our Franchise Opportunities Over the years Claire has tweaked and added to the syllabus, introducing the Teeny Toes baby classes after having two children of her own and not finding a baby dance class for that age group, and expanding to offer Baby ballet classes, Tip Toes. Tappy Toes now offers dance classes for all babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Claire's mission is to get all our little ones moving, and to instil a real love of dance and the arts at a young age. Claire also teaches teenagers, and has noticed a real rise in teenage anxiety over the last few years. She is extremely passionate about introducing children to dance as young as possible, in the hope that they continue with it into adulthood. It is such a great stress reliever and releases those happy endorphins that keep our mental health strong!Book Now!
We are now offering children's dance classes in Rickmansworth and Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, and can't wait get you all moving! Due to high demand and limited numbers some classes may be full. You have the option to book for the term, or you can book a three-week trial period. Spaces are strictly limited, so be quick! If your chosen class is full, you can register for our waiting list.
