Hi I'm Lynne Devine,

Hi my name is Lynne and I’m so excited to be starting my Tappy Toes journey with you and your lovely children. I run classes in the East End, South Side and West End of Glasgow.

I realise the importance of building children’s confidence, developing their motor and social skills as well as their co-ordination and posture while all the time ensuring they have fun!

I am a mum to two gorgeous wee girls Isabella and Rosie, aged 4 and 2 and a half. Before I had my children I was cabin manager with an airline which gave me a love of working with people from all walks of life and of all ages. However this position didn’t leave much time for family life so I retrained at college and now I am a qualified childhood practitioner. I am employed part time in a local authority nursery, a job I love. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see the children in my care develop and grow in confidence as they learn many new skills.  I now have lots of quality time with my girls and this also lets me run my Tappy Toes business giving me a lovely work/life balance.

I have always had a great love of dance and attended lessons from a very young age. This love of dance led me to ice dance and I competed in competitions throughout the UK. As an adult I joined a synchronised skating team and together we won both the Scottish and British championships.

Just after lockdown my mother took my youngest daughter Rosie to Tappy Toes to help her socialise and interact with others. My wee girl loved it so much she wanted to wear her T shirt every day and even to her bed! I myself then took her to another class on a different day. I can’t express enough how much it helped her with social interaction, musicality, rhythm and agility. It also  helped her learn her colours. We don’t just say red in our house. It’s Tappy Toes Red!! Seeing my child develop and flourish through dance has inspired me to start my own franchise and now I can’t wait to work with you and your children and watch them blossom.

Tappy Toes is a magical, fun half hour where adults and children  can meet new friends. Everyone can skip, wiggle, jump, twirl and enjoy the wonderful music. Children love the variety of props too as well as bubbles and collecting their well earned sticker every week. I am so excited and looking forward to our journey together. Tappy Toes Glasgow here we come!
