My love for dance began at age 2, attending ballet classes in Parkstone. I then added tap, modern and performing arts into the mix, grooving and performing 7 days a week.
I truly found my calling at the Arts University Bournemouth’s dance degree, focusing in on the community practitioner element. This included working alongside members of the community, who are less likely to be engaged with dance. I strongly believe that dance is for EVERYBODY.
I am thrilled to be able to share my passion for dance with you all at Tappy Toes.
In 2016 my (not so little) boy, Finley came into the world. He is hilarious, caring and incredibly witty… all the first hand experience you need working with children.
Our classes are fun and friendly, aimed at both boys and girls. We use bright props, upbeat music and lots of active movement, to engage your little ones. Tappy Toes will assist with co-ordination, balance, listening, social skills and confidence. No need for uncomfortable leotards … we offer a safe space to be silly and let loose (this means you too). Grown ups join in the fun, alongside their little ones, which makes for some special memories.
Tappy Toes is a great introduction to dance, preparing them for more formal dance classes, such as ballet or tap later on. Boosting confidence that your little one can use at nursery or school too!
We also offer birthday parties, and love being invited to your little ones special day. Be prepared for bubbles, balloons and lots of fun.
Looking forward to having a boogie with you soon.
Brooke :)
