Dance and performance have always been at the heart of my life. From a very young age, I knew I wanted to be on stage, learning routines, and sharing stories through movement. That passion never faded, and it’s taken me on an incredible journey, from studying Musical Theatre to working overseas, and now to starting a brand-new chapter with Tappy Toes.
A lifelong love of performing
Growing up, performing was my greatest joy. I was the child who loved putting on little shows at home, and I was lucky enough to turn that passion into a career path. I completed a BTEC in Musical Theatre before training at Drama school, where I gained my 1st class degree in Musical Theatre. These years were full of hard work, rehearsals, and unforgettable opportunities that gave me not only technical skills in dance, drama, and singing but also the confidence and discipline that performing arts instil.
Teaching across the globe
One of the highlights of my career so far was working overseas in Gibraltar, where I taught dance, drama, and musical theatre to children from a wide mix of nationalities and backgrounds. It was such a rewarding experience to see how creativity and movement can bring children together, helping them express themselves no matter their first language or culture. That time abroad really deepened my love of teaching and showed me just how powerful the performing arts can be in helping young people develop life skills, confidence, and joy.
Family life and little dancers

Since becoming a mum, I’ve found even more inspiration in sharing my love of dance with little ones. My two-year-old son is full of energy, curiosity, and creativity and he absolutely loves to dance and play. Whether he’s spinning around the living room or joining in with music at playgroup, he reminds me every day how natural movement is for children and how important it is to nurture that from an early age. He’s also my most honest critic, toddlers never hold back their opinions!
Being a parent has given me a fresh perspective on early years development and made me even more passionate about providing children with fun, engaging opportunities to grow through dance. I know firsthand how much little ones learn when they’re having fun, from coordination and balance to imagination and social skills.
Excited to start the Tappy Toes journey
I’m thrilled to be starting this next chapter with Tappy Toes. It feels like the perfect way to combine my background in dance and performance with my love for working with children. I can’t wait to welcome lots of little dancers into class, to see them discover the joy of moving to music, and to watch their confidence blossom week by week.
For me, dance is so much more than steps and routines, it’s about expression, connection, and joy. And I can’t wait to share that with your little ones!
